Sew Darn Sassy started when myself and a friend decided to combine all of our skills within fashion, textiles, footwear, jewellery, millinery, art and design to set up our own business.

We made beautifully kitsch vintage inspired products and teach our own workshops across Sussex, 

teaching how to make fabulous fashion accessories and homewares for hen parties, Christmas kitsch decorations and all year round crafting.

We ran the workshops from 2014 until 2018. I am now hosting the workshops on my own under What's Up Birdie?.

We were asked by Irregular Choice to create their Christmas shop windows for two years running in London and across the UK.

I really enjoy teaching the general public how to hand make something wonderfully kitsch whatever their sewing ability is.
